I cleaned up the colours and kept them constant thorough each area. The colours are bright and light to avoid tediousness. I was careful to chose colours which wouldn't have obvious connotations to other references, and also ones which would stand out well against a white back ground and in small strokes.
The text is in a darker shade so it becomes more dominant and could sit over the lighter colour.
