An idea I had was to optimise the school exercise books. Currently they are fairly plain and similar. I could include the pictograms onto the covers of them to distinguish them between subjects. Also, the last few pages could be dedicated to suggest career paths or areas of study that are largely related to that subject. Therefore, if a student enjoys it and is good at it they can see what prospects it offers.
After speaking with my tutor about this idea he felt that I could take this a step further and design the inside page as well, paying attention to the paper quality, thickness, size, and layout.
